HOW MUCH DOES CEILING TILE RECYCLING COST?
The ceiling tile recycling cost through EnviroTile is $200 to $450 per pallet, depending on which state the site is in. Each pallet holds 250 tiles, so that works out to between 80 cents and $1.80 per tile [+GST]. There’s no minimum quantity.
COLLECTION COST BY STATE
| State | Per pallet (250 tiles) | Per tile |
| NSW, ACT, VIC, QLD | $200 | $0.80 |
| SA, TAS | $350 | $1.40 |
| WA | $450 | $1.80 |
EXAMPLE
A 1,000m² office ceiling with 1200 × 600mm tiles has roughly 1,390 tiles. That’s six pallets, or about $1,200 to collect in NSW, ACT, VIC or QLD. With 600 × 600mm tiles, the same area has about 2,780 tiles: 12 pallets, or about $2,400.
WHAT’S INCLUDED
The per-pallet price covers collection from site by NCS’s approved logistics partner and transport to our processing facility.
HOW TO KEEP COSTS DOWN
-
- Pack every pallet with the full 250 tiles.
- Remove tiles carefully. Damaged tiles can’t be accepted, so breakages reduce what you can recycle.
- Register early, so testing is done before the de-fit starts and collection doesn’t hold up the program.
