Top-Hat Modular Aluminium Grid
Top-Hat Modular is a lightweight modular aluminium grid system, available in three module sizes and with pre-mitred cross tee intersections. This system suits a range of NCS tiles, both mineral fibre and metal. Extruded from 6063 T5 grade aluminium, with a clean white polyester powder coat finish, this modular system is easy to install, and compatible with the NCS seismic product range.
The face width of the sections is 32mm, including the shadowline. The inside of the shadowline is also threaded, to allow for fixing partition sections to the underside of the grid.
All top-hat modular systems are designed for a three-tile module, hence C-splines are supplied alongside the grid. These are available in three lengths to suit the three available module sizes, and are kept in stock.
There are a number of unique benefits to using a modular grid like this. The first, is aesthetics. A seamless, modern ceiling is created by reducing the number of tee bars and their frequency.
The second benefit is the acoustic properties. Modular grid is always used in conjunction with a high-NRC tile like the Pinnacle, making for a high-performance ceiling.
The third and final benefit is the easy integration of services, such as air diffusers and light panels.
