Perimeter Trims
NCS’ range of standard perimeter trims for ceiling grid are designed to be used alongside the Trident exposed grid system, in both 15 and 24mm face widths. The range of trims are extruded in a strong, sturdy aluminium alloy, ensuring a sharp, clean edge detail; and finished in a corrosion-resistant white powder coat, to match in with ceiling grid. These versatile aluminium trims are available in stock from our well-established network of National Ceiling Systems distributors across the country.
The versatile trims can be used in the following scenarios:
- Creating a plain, square perimeter for a suspended ceiling
- Creating a shadowline detail around a suspended ceiling perimeter
- Transitioning between plasterboard and suspended grid ceiling
- Ensuring a neat finish with a plasterboard bulkhead
Extruding our perimeter trims for ceiling grid from aluminium is beneficial for installation. Firstly, aluminium is easier to cut than steel, and can be simply tailored to length on-site. Additionally this means they are able to be curved, to trim columns, or create a curved edge to a ceiling. This increases design freedom for interior designers, enabling the creation of a wide variety of shapes and edges to suspended ceilings in any type of project.
